4x4 Solutions at Maresfield Garage is owned and run by David Ede who has an enormous wealth of workshop experience, with many years with all manner of vehicles, as well as high performance cars with Porsche. A long time fan of all things 4x4, David then jumped at the chance to join a Sussex based  Land Rover main dealer, turning his 4x4 enthusiasm into practical technical and engineering expertise.

At this time that David had the idea to start his own business. He saw and opportunity to combine a general local garage service, covering servicing, repair and MOT testing for all types of cars and vans and to specialise in all things 4x4 and off road. In 1996 David found the ideal workshop and forecourt premises in the rural village setting of Maresfield, just off the A22 in East Sussex. It is the perfect location for a local garage, offering repairs, servicing and MOT testing for all vehicles.

Being surrounded by open Sussex countryside and on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, where 4x4’s are a way of life, not a fashion accessory, it is also the perfect location for a 4x4 specialist

Opening Hours
Our workshop and sales centre is open from 8.30am to 05.30pm, Monday to Friday and from 08.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday. For sales outside of these hours, please contact us and we will try to make alternative arrangements to suit you. Please note our MOT centre operates on an appointment only basis.
